My oldest silver and from a sports field no less.

Ism

Well-known member
I haven't been visiting the forum much lately but just wanted to share a couple finds from yesterday.

1834 half dime
Silver charm
22k ring.
Left out of the pics are all the trash, cosmetic jewelry, and loose change.

The sports field used to be an old homestead farm. I've recovered a few old coins near the surface but this is my first silver.
I have my Deus 2 set to detect fairly shallow; I won't plug more than 4 inches so not to be seen tearing up the field.
Grounds keepers have no issues with me working the field and I intend to keep it that way.
