I'm still kicking myself for turning down a 1972 Honda CL 350(?). My old pastor had one that he was trying go get rid of, and at the time, I didnt have any room for it. I do now and I cry myself to sleep every night thinking about it.

a Yugo or Geo or something small like that. Good thing you have long legs...mine would never touch the ground on your bike...too high in the saddle for this short legged guy. That's one thing I did like about the Honda 350 I had. Nice knobby tires for off road and was good for highway too...except the old Zilwaukee draw bridge...the knobby tires were just a little bigger than the holes in the grating...like riding the back of an eel going across that bridge. Good thing it is gone. Sad thing is is all my motorcycles are gone too

miss that bike. Had a Honda 500-4 I paid only $100 for. Rode it once, wiring harness turned to toast light went out at night and almost got nailed by a car that didn't see me. That same bike, during a divorce, had no place to be stored. I had nothing I could do to keep it....I got a fork truck and dumped it in a dumpster. I had the police witness it and even the officer tried to get ahold of other officers who might have wanted it but couldn't reach any of them. I'd have signed the title over to one of them if one of them had shown up.

As the Word says, things in this life are temporary.

Back in 1971 I purchased a new one from a dealer for $1200.00, 650CC tiger single carb. loved IT,Had it for a few yrs. then bought a HD. At the time with both bikes you had to carry an adjustable wrench with you to tighten all the nuts that vibrated loose & spares . I remember one time rolling down the road & my foot peg fell off, my heel hit the ground & it scared the dickins out off me. But I still kept rideing

...It was in the late 80s or early 90s I think it happened-The story goes there were high-wind warnings up that day-Supposedly she ignored them, pulled out around a semi going slow cause of the high winds-Got out in front of him,and away she went-RIGHT OVER THE SIDE,CAR AND ALL....I remember this so clearly because riding over that same Bridge like I do,that struck kinda close to home;even though I didnt know her.TAKE SOME GOOD ADVICE-If you ever have to cross a bridge, and there are high- wind warnings up,heed what they say,and SLOW DOWN....Crossing that Mackinaw Bridge in a CAR in high winds wakes you up-Doin it on a MOTORCYCLE can be down right hairy...:(........
