My search for the old clubhouse was a flop:thumbdown: and I could only manage 4 wheaties at the 40's picnic area:sadwalk: But........

it was an old boy scout camp and it had been hit pretty hard over the years. Some where in the underbrush he manage to locate the frame and metal workings of an old 2 cushion glider type couch. The metal from the inner workings of the couch was really messing with his detector but he did manage to find a mercury dime up close to it. Then it dawned on him..... boys being boys, he imagined the number of scouts that had found this thing and used it as a trampoline. He put his detector down and pulled every piece of that old couch up and moved it a couple of yards away to see what may be left underneath. He eventually found a roll of mercury dimes (one at a time) a hand full of wheat pennies, buffalo nickels and 3 half dollars. He was thrilled and everyone else had passed by this site for years. Never know what may be out there.
