My son scores gold first day!

wow talk about begginers luck! Paul (NWO)came over today and met my son and I for a hunt at the trailor park (empty)
My son has hunted with me, but this is the 1st time he has ever done it by himself. Paul brought an extra detector with him, and loaned it to my son to learn on. It was a bounty hunter with a sniper type coil. My son found a penny and dime and then 14K GOLD !!!

he was pretty excited :clapping: and I was pretty happy as well 4 him. Was cool to see his face light up like he just won the lottery.

I found this cool foreign coin some clad and a toy plane. If you know anything about the coin, fill me in!
 
Cien Pesetas is 100 Pesetas, a Spanish denomination of currency before they went to the Euro. 100 Peseta coins like this typically go for $2 on eBay. Pretty good as far as foreign coins go, congratulations! And to your son also, I don't have to tell you how rare it is for someone to find gold the first time out (unless of course you read about it in a metal detector manufacturer's propaganda, where EVERYONE finds gold the first time out).

The son find's gold with MY detector! The dad finds a neat foreign coin! Me, I find 28 cents, two dimes and eight cents. I also found an aluminum gutter nail. aluminum can and a piece of about 1/4" diameter copper with a brass compression fitting. I feel sooooo proud!:heh: No, I'm happy for both of them. Forgot my camera or would have had pictures. Almost every time I've loaned one of my detectors to a newbie they have found jewelery. Not always real but jewelery. Only missed one time with my nephew. That makes two gold finds to newbies. No, you guys can't borrow my detectors. Your not newbies. Goes4ever and his son are top notch people. Pleasure to spend some time with. Next month we are planning to get together in my city.

Great job!!! Sounds like you will need to get an Ace 150 for you son.
