General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

MY T2 FROZE TODAY!!!!

Felix is the warehouse manager. Julian is the Teknetics customer service rep. I believe. Hope you get some answers to any questions you have, and hope my T2 turns up eventually!
 
A woman from the USPS called me again, and they insist it was delivered. They say that due to being dropped at a different time of day, that it may not have been noticed and been left unattended over the weekend. So basically they are saying there is a lot of theft at that time of the year, just prior to Christmas and that my detector could have been lifted from their premises.
 
The same kinds of things happened to me at first. Then someone noticed these posts on the forum and the service got much better, but this must have pissed someone off, thats why this got moved from the Teknetics section. There are many more threads with many more pages than 2, so out of hand activity is just BS. No one wants to man up to the possibility that my machine could have been lost @ FT. The usps says delivered. When there is any doubt you should help out your loyal customers. I've done tons of free advertising basically on youtube. People ask me stuff every day about my BH Platinum, F2, and T2. I may have to do a new video with my empty box, manual, postal reciepts, tracking and delivery info, and let the viewers decide. It would be an interesting video for sure. Customer service treated me poorly at first. They said they would return my call, and didn't. Sent me to answering machines, and treated me like a liar, until I got pissed and posted some stuff. Then things changed. I'm a department head at a company.If the same thing happened to one of my customers, I would give him the benefit of the doubt, with this amount of proof and replace the machine. One happy customer generates sales. A customer that feels ripped, and tells his story does the opposite. Many potential buyers will think twice after they see a story like that on Youtube, and the forums. I haven't heard anything else, so this may be my only option.
 
I would like to formally apologize for my ill remarks about First Texas. In my frustration over my lost detector, I got a bit carried away. The truth is the guys at FT are still working to resolve the situation very hard, and I appreciate their effort. I will continue to use the detectors they make with pride in knowing I have a great machine, with excellent customer support.
