Belt plate!!! It's the only thing we found. SoArk and I went to one of our hammered places for a little while this morning and this is all we found. I had dug zinc jar lids till I was about sick. As I decided I was going to the truck for some water I got another signal,expecting a jar lid I was pleasantly surprised that it wasnt. Still got some leather on the back. It was wrapped up in some roots and I think that is how the edge got broke. Wish y'all was here 'cause d2 is passing out cigars tonite...d2

WOW, d2! she's a nice find indeed. i remember when i found my first one....my reactions were the same! congrats on your beltplate, you certainly were due for one. did you find it with your cibola or a water machine? congrats! hh!
