My very special Christmas

NH Bob

New member
In 1990 I lost my 24 year old son to a construction accident. He had known a woman for a short time prior to his death and she faded into the woodwork so to speak.
Yesterday I got a phone call asking if I would like to meet my Grand daughter. This of course took me off my feet and I soon recovered enough to say yes of course.
She was just told a day or two ago about her real Father and with help from the library they found me.
I am the happiest Grandpa you could ever meet and I could not have asked for a better Christmas present.

I also am sorry to hear about your son Bob, but you have a beautiful granddaughter now to share not only the sad times, but the happy times to come. I have two granddaughters 5 and 3 and they are the light of my life......:) Happy holidays to you and the rest of your family and especially to that wonderful granddaughter who has found her grandpa.
