OK, I'll admit that I'm a bit excited since I've rediscovered metal detecting, but my wife called me crazy this morning when she discovered my new (albeit dirt covered) Teknetics Delta on the side of our bed. "What.. Now you're sleeping with it?!!... get that thing out of here!!!" So now one of them has to go. Who's got any advice for this love struck rookie?

How much do you like your wife? You could always flip a quarter, one that you found with the Delta, and call it in the air! I am kidding of course... or am I?! You might suggest her going to the spare bedroom. Once you hand her your first gold ring recovery, all will be well. Unless, of course, it takes you a while to find one, then, it might take 2. Oh, the crosses we have to bear.
HH jim tnMickTwin, you could tell her you have enjoyed the company of both your loves lol, that ought to start the day off well lol.I have also come back to this hobby this year after several years away for reasons of my own.The family of Teknetics the Alpha, the Delta,the Gamma and the Omega are excellent coin machines.I personally use the gamma and the Omega and my brother in law has the delta.For the money spent i really dont think there is a better choice you can make then to buy the delta, gamma or omega.Welcome back to this great hobby and if you have any questions about anything please post them here for there are wonderful people with a wealth of knowledge on here to help guide you and assist you.I have enjoyed this forum and reading what so many people have to say and their ability and Williness to help is amazing......Markmac
