She told me saturday she would NOT have let me spend $1,200.00 on a laptop,then we went to ABC Warehouse and spent less than HALF that for a new tower-LOTS better than the one I had.Also;over the weekend we were discussing vacation time in July/August.I have been talking about going to Copper Harbor in the U.P.for years-Takin my m/c on my carrier that attatches my truck,metal detectors,the whole 9 yards...she said"LISTEN-YOU GOT 2 WEEKS,AND WE ARE SPENDING THE 2ND WEEK CAMPING TOGETHER IN PRESQUE ISLE-WHY dont you just take that 1st week,and go to Copper Harbor,take your motorcycle,metal detectors and everything else,and have a good time?"Last time I was up there was in '99,before I had my motorcycle.BESIDES,HOW can I argue with that logic??SO:IM GOING!!!Im getting motel prices over the'net(Believe it or not;I found a motel up near Baraga that advertises prices "as low as $32 a night"....
...Im leaning toward a place in Copper Harbor called the Arcadian Motel-A room with FULL KITCHEN-dishes,sliverware,everything-$55 a nite!! NAH-IM NOT GOING SPECIFICALLY TO LOOK FOR THAT "WALL OF SILVER MINE"bonanza that supposedly exists up there-However;if I was to stumble across it;I would just HAVE to go in and look for them bags of $10 gold pieces supposedly hidden in there...Im gonna take LOTS of pics-My wife said she will show me how to post pics on here this weekend;so you all will get to see them too..PS:I will try to post a pic of that bracelet I eye-ball found this weekend;too.
