Mystery Object

I found this at a local public access adn have not a clue what it is. Can anybody tell me what this may be? It weighs about 2 pounds. Thanks

Is it lead or some sort of iron? Its too heavy and big to be a duck decoy anchor, even though they are commonly found in the water where guys duck hunt..and sort of look like that with an eye coming out the top.

yea we are pretty sure it is lead. It came up on my f2 as dime and quarter. Thanks

If its lead you can scratch it with a knife...sounds like how big lead sounds sure looks like it could be some sort of home made anchor for a string of decoys.
