and the cut short hunt due to the heat and humidity yielded some nice finds, we will go back when it is not so nasty out. The British Penny is 1863.
 
Here's some of my finds from the past few times detecting. I didn't last near as long as Larry did with the humidity creeping in the higher digits but had fun trying.
