Need 3 LF COIL

explorerjim

New member
Hi all new to forum. I 've had the 70 for over a year and its a pretty good machine. I pretty much leave the 6 inch. HF coil on all the time and use it in the trashy spots. I heard minelab reads these forums. I think we need a nice 3 LF coil in the 7 to 8 inch size and a 3 LF IN THE 10 TO 11 inch size in DD to make this a great detector. What do you guys think. explorerjim.

several of us have been telling Minelab that for over 2 years. But it don't hurt to tell them again. And, you just did. (actually, I'd rather have the small one a 6-inch DD) HH Randy

Gimme a 11" DD 7.5 khz coil with the ears actually "centered" in the CENTER of the coil.---Something like the 11" DD lightweight Pro coil for the Explorer line (& Etrac).--That coil weighs 19 oz. & has much better balance because of the positioning of the "ears".----Minelab has an excellent lightweight detector in the Xterra line but I NEVER could understand why they would turn out such a humongous 10.5" DD coil that weighs what-23oz?-and with off centered connecting ears for this fine lightweight machine.-----Minelab--are you listening???---Keep telling 'em Randy!--------Del

As long as we're all "wishing"... I'd like a 9" 3 kHz DD Coil.. Light weight, please.:clapping:

Yes an SE / E-Trac PRO type coil, "Ultra-lightweight waterproof 11" Double D Waterproof Coil, versatile with sharp, accurate pinpointing and depth!" in 3 kHz LF for the X-Terras.

(OR a Detech 10x12" or 12x15" SEF (Butterfly) coil for the X-Terras.)

Hey all, I myself wish I could have had a choice of coil. I am a long time Minelab user and would rather had the DD mid freq coil. I myself cant get along all that well with this coil that came with it, but things the way they are force me to stick with it. They dont give them away lol. Maybe I can convince them to trade with me lol. Well HH L8R
