Need a Little Help.....coil

My Son has a 705 and has been hunting with the 10" DD coil. One of the ears on the yoke has cracked and about to break off. I know this has been a problem, any good suggestions on how to fix the problem. Any help is appreciated!
 
Hi Bill, I have one the same way, just put a large plastic washer on the side that is cracked. Mine dose fine, if it brakes i will do something else. Flintstone
 
Try Minelab... if it is a common issue they may replace....If not..... Gorilla glue to the rescue

Sounds like the boys have got the problem solved and my input wouldn't add any strength to the solution. Glue and extra support. There yah go.
