Need advice - rock polisher

Sherry has been wanting one since she was a kid. Her cousin got one and she always wanted one and never got one. With a little of the remaining life insurance from my Dad I want to buy her a rock polisher.

So who has one and does anyone know what is the best kind to get. I don't want to buy her a piece of junk off eBay at an inflated price. Rather give her a very good one.

Thanks everyone and BTW here is an update on Sherry. Still in a lot of pain. The results of her upper GI came back but the scheduler told her it would be 8 days before she could see the doc to find out what they were. That was not the right answer in my book, especially when Sherry has been horrible pain for more than 8 weeks. I went to the office and asked to see Sherry's nurse when she was available. I found out that there is a combination of problems - one is reflux that has burned her stomach up through her throat (probably explsins why she hasn't been able to burp to get rid of) and there is something else causing a blockage below. They want to schedule her for a general surgery to run a 'scope' down her throat using a camera to view everything inside.

I told them she could not wait for 8 more days to get these results and the nurse and the doctor were unaware that is how long it was going to take for the scheduler to get her in. They are scheduling an ASAP general surgeon and we will be going to the hospital in Clare on Thursday to get this scope thing done. I don't know how that will help but at least it is better than keeping her on pain pills and being a zombie or for her to force herself to bein pain to stay off the pain pills. Neither is acceptable. Prsy for the surgeon and that we will have some answers very soon.

Remember I need info on rock polishers. Thanks everyone.

I got mine from Al. The best out there a Lrtone tumbler. He even has all the polishing agents for stones. He has two sizes too!

Let Sherry know that I too had the scope run down from throat to stomach. If she goes to sleep she will never know it was done. Nothing to worry about. It is possible she has a Schlotzkies ring?

I'm praying for her!

Tried to Google that ring and all I got was a sub sandwich???

Now that is something I'd like to have right now.

Do you think you will get the rock tumbler from Al?
The ring not sure on the spelling is a small ring that grows around the inside of the tube that runs to the stomach. It slightly restricts food on the way down. Not often just once in a while so it feels like something is stuck in the throat. Even so a sub sounds good right now!

I ordered one online (not from Al) it was less (even with shipping included) than what Al had in his website but will order the supplies Sherry needs from Al. I want to support his business.

I think I will have to go off my diet and get a subway sandwich today.
