need help. how to remove camlock?

Hello.
Hopefully this is the corect forum to ask for help as this question is related
to White's detectors and gear.

I know I've seen this some time ago at a friend who replaced his camlock to
get it stronger while the lock, the white part inside the tube, was new.
But how do I losen the old camlock. I know they are two parts, that black outer one.
Any tips on how to separate the parts???

Got it.
It's done very easy.
Changed the camlock at the detectors end as it wasn't close enough
and the stem was a little bit flimsy.
Now it is like new.

Glad it worked out for you Vito !

Thank you for your response dirt doctor.
For me it really worked. Still have some older parts from detectors
in my basemant and so I had no charge and the parts still do the
job on my current detectors.
There is one thing to mention, the camlocks used on the rods and the
IDX / M6 style electronic housing rods have different diameter than the
camlocks used on the MXT (Pro) / V3 style electronic housing rods.
Hope this will help someone else, too.

All the best & Happy Hunting
