Need help identifying

Is it gold?
 
Lead is more silver looking or gray. How much does it weigh? You could take it to a jeweler and have it tested.
 
Period lead comes out of the ground white/ creamy looking. Depending on the site, could be a piece of camp lead or maybe even a smashed mini ball. HH jim tn
 
Although I do not see the picture in detail, it seems 100% lead and crust indicates that you have enough time, over 100 years almost certain. Looks like a musket bullet bite, which they used to make some soldiers due to nerves before the fight ... more A review
