My little girl has been sick for about a week and seemed to be doing better. Then last night woke up with a fever, so I took her to the doctor. The doctor told us she has bronchitis, and perscribe three different medicines. Was there for about three hours before we were seen. Then had to take persciptions and drop them off. Tiring day for the both of us. Please pray for her to get better real soon. Thanks Travis.

I will have to ask Sherry to post about using vinegar in bath water for bringing done a temperature. She has knowledge of that and used it recently when Leelan was running a temperature.

For some reason vinegar breaks the temperature.

Will ask her to post tonight if she can.

Travis, I remember those days with my kids when they were little and it's an awful and tiring thing to deal with. God bless you for taking her to the doctor yourself! I admire men who 'man up' and do what they ought to be doing instead of dumping it all in the mother's lap. Tim never lifted a finger to do anything at all with or for our kids when they were growing up. I was worn out, resented him, and now our kids do not have a good relationship with him... simply because he was never there for them, never encouraged them... nothin. All he did was stay on their backs about everything. Thank God, Tim had a change of heart later in life, but by the time he did, it was already too late. The damage was done as far as their relationships were concerned. I was both Mother AND Daddy to our kids when they were growing up, and those are some mighty big shoes to fill!!!! So, GOD BLESS YOU FOR BEING A REAL MAN!!!!!!!!! I will definitely be praying for your daughter and I hope she feels better soon.

7cw(Travis) Prayers have been sent up for your daughter. God will heal her. Keep us updated. I agree with Lisa. Sometimes the dad lays it all on the mom to do the kid thing. Those kids are both of the parents responsibility and we all need to do our part. I have tried to impart that on my sons who now have children and thank God they seemed to have listened.

Thanks Lisa and DK for the kind words. I think the DaD should do just as much for there kids as the MoM. It burns me up when I see dads doing there own thing when there wife and kids are at home. My daughter is in dance class , because she wanted to be a ballerina and I go to every class with her also and there is only a couple of other dads there and there is about 12 kids in there. They are all 2 1/2 to 5 years old and I love watching them they are precious . When they get older you can not go back and change things you did or did not do when they were growing up. I want my daughter to be a good christian girl when she gets older that has respect for others , not like so many other kids these days. I already teach her not to be lazy also as that is a sin and plain makes me upset to see a lazy person. And who better to teach our kids than MOM and DAD. That is where the world has went wrong with there kids , parents do not care and they have no morals. Some people call me old fashion , I call my self a true christian and a good ole country boy ( southern boy also) could not leave that out:biggrin:. As I type this she just fell asleep she got her medicines in her about 6 o clock. GOD is an awesome GOD and he has blessed us with a beautiful little girl.
Please also pray that she does not get pneumonia as she has had rsv. Thanks again Travis and LIz had to put my wife name on here to as Loren is OURdaughter.

Bless you, Travis, for being there for your and Liz's daughter! My Tami used to be sick most of the time...had to drink soybean based milk and then she as had bronchist all her life and now along with all of that she has Fibromyalgia and Osteo-Arthritis! Seems as though our ancestry includes lots of sickness and diseases!

I sure will be praying for Loren and since God hears and answers our prayers in Jesus' name, she will be over her ill spell and on her way to dancing again! I pray she outgrows the bronchitis! My granddaughter, Tina, also kept being ill with it for years! May God keep you and Liz in good health to be there for Loren when trials come for all of you! God is goood and Jesus cares....so keep the faith that He is still working all things out for the good for each of you for He has a plan for everyone, Who loves Him and are called according to His purpose! May the peace and joy of the Lord give you both extra comfort and strength and quick healing for your daughter! Amen! God Bless! Betty
