I am having probably the hardest day I've had since my surgery. I could not wake up on time at all today. I managed to wake up at about 2:00pm and my whole body felt like it was on fire. It is an all consuming burning feeling literally. I called my surgeon. I will see him today at 12:00pm. He told me to increase the pain meds until I feel comfortable. i think he is going to start me back on the Morphine again which I' not thrilled about but I need to do what I need to do. I am NOT going to play any games with this at all. I've been through to much already. I will not go through it again needlessly. I'm not that stupid. He told me that what's happening is that the nerves and muscles I've not been using for over a year are starting to come "regenerate" and that's what's causing the burning. I guess that it is a good sign but it hurts like mad.I'm completely stoned and I'm still in pain. That's crazy. He told me to expect it and to expect more days like this in the near future. He even told me not to be surprised if I am re-admitted from time to time because of it. He said that if I want all I have to do is call and I'm in; no questions asked. I'll be admitted on the spot.!!!!! What they did to me is truly "CUTTING EDGE" Science. I am probably in the top 10 people in the US that has had this surgery done. What I'm asking is that I :"know" where my strength lies, In JESUS Christ Almighty.!!!!!! Sometimes I just need an extra hand staying focused on Him.Now is one of those times. So please say some prayers that Jesus gives me the strength to make it through this bump in the road to recovery.Thanks very much. PEACE:RONB

Didn't the dr warn you of this after he did the surgery? Well it is good that your nerves and etc or starting to come to life, but I know it must hurt terrible as the dr has said, you would have times like these! My prayer is: Dear God, Please move upon Barker, quickly, and lessen the pain and help him to get a good night's sleep for his tired, hurting and aching body! We know that You, in Jesus' name, can do the impossible for all things are possible with You! We are praying and asking now for mercy and help for him to be comforted and have the peace that only You can give! Amen! And Ron we are here whenever you or anyone on this forum needs prayer to endure and overcome each day when we can't seem to get through it without our Brothers and Sisters prayers! I also pray for a quicker healing than the drs have predicted to be able to feel so much better and able to do more really soon, but don't until God and the dr says so! May God keep on blessing with your recovery and give HIm the Praise and Gory when He does give you good days and, hopefully, more good ones than bad ones! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty
