Hope that was you that got that 1270, it went for $276, what a deal. I don't know what I would have done with 2 of them but I was trying. Our internet was down when the auction ended but we were trying to get a bid in with my wife's cell phone. I don't think she was trying real hard

Here is a link to what I think is a nice looking detector and I know these are deep good machines. Not a lot of bells and whistles. If you was to get something like this you could get more info in the classic forum lot of good stuff.

And the snow here is really bad, looks like maybe 2 or 3"

sorry wasn't me I was working and didn't get a chance to go on-line but I'm really disappointment for that F-5. The guy is going to post office and mail the f-5 to anywhere in USA but not Canada.... when I asked him why he said he has no time for mailing to Canada...!!!!????? I think putting different address was a hard thing to do. LOL

The problem with international shipping (Long Distance) is price! in some cases the cost of shippiing out of the USA is worth more than the item. (not as much so with international back to the USA)
The next problem is if there is a buyer - seller problem then its more of a hasle to resolve it. Now Canada isn't that much of a problem because its a border country, but many sellers on ebay (USA sellers) can flat rate many items within the US, but they can't do that for an international shippment.
Also, there is a greater risk of stuff happening with items going through customs, so the sellers just don't want to fool with the extra problems.

If you have friends or family in the US you can buy it from Canada and have just use a shipping address from within the US. I have sold to more than one person this way, mainly people in the military and having the item shipped to family.

Yes you are right it could be difficult for the sender and headache to mail it internationally....

I tried to send you a test PM but it says you are ineligible which is what I thought. I am thinking you need to be registered for something a little over 20 days, not sure about that number, it seem like forever and 2 days before I could send or receive PMs.

PS see you and my little brother Mark hooked up. I got a junker detector on ebay my first post and some guy from Germany wanted me to ship to him. So I had the same question to little brother last night.

You may also want to ask for some pictures of the actual detector, he has some nice ones of the box.
I bought an F4 from a guy that had only pictures of a box. Finally I got him to take it out of the box and he sent pictures to me so I had a private viewing and I pushed the button. I got that one for $250 and I bought it for a hunting buddy to be. He was over last night for supper and a little hands on training.

Here is another one that is a good machine and they say thay will ship to Canada. I have seen several of these go for $275 to $350, this one looks and sounds to be a little on the lower side. I have one of these and they are pretty good machines.
