DOES THIS DETECTOR HAVE ANY DECENT DEPTH,HOW IS IT ON DISCRIMNATION? HOW DO YOU SET THE GROUND BALANCE?ANY FEED BACK APPRECIATED:clapping:

Hi CJM, What you have there is one of the most underrated MD's out there. I have had mine for nearly 18 yrs and it is still finding the goods just fine. One doesn't hear too much about the Eldorado's, but, you would be hard pressed to find many in the "for sale" sections on any website or Ebay.

I love mine! Very simple to use, great discrim, better than average depth for it's price range and a smooth operator. Light on the arm too, after a long day of swinging.

I can get into more details if you want, but the smells of dinner have wafted up the stairs and I'm starving. Will check back soon.

The Eldorado is a great detector. Go to Tesoro's website for the manual and instructions on ground balancing.

The Tesoro Eldorado is a incredibly wonderful machine. I have the 8 inch doughnut coil hooked up to mine. It's a joy to use.
