Someone on this forum had some information on Colonial Silversmiths. I am trying to find some information on the guy that made those silver serving tongs I found at the plantation a while back. The piece is marked "J Watson Phila". I found very little info on him. The only thing I found said that he was still in business as late as 1820. The plantation was founded in 1759. Does anyone have any information on this guy?
