Need suggestions from civil war relic hunters

Going to take My AT Pro out to my nieces house. SHe has a old barn on her property that was used to stable calvery troops during the civil war. Any suggestions on what settings I should use? How much iron decrim I should use or not at all?

Hunt in zero pro mode, set your iron at 30. Hunt with iron audio turned on if there is not too much junk. Dig those soft whispers on targets! And of course all your high tones too. Use as much sensitivity as possible. Dig lots of targets. Junk from today's readings are not junk 100+ years ago.

Good Luck!

I would run Pro mode zero iron disc at 22 don't run it up to 30 because you will disc out some tin back buttons if you set it that high. Dig anything from 30 and higher on the VDI.

I personally would,t run any disc. and set up in pro zero and run sen as high as possible. $1.00 gold coins come in in the foil range on many detectors and the $2.50 gold coin just a little bit higher. There are quite a few civil war items that can be lower readings. Good luck, HH jim tn
