Need your thoughts on omega 8000

well i know i'm not much help here because i don't own one yet but i think from what i"ve seen on youtube and things said about it and with the 11" DD combo it's a super unit!

You might end up liking it better than your etrac. Especially with the 11" DD coil.

I've had mine for about 3 weeks, but have only used it a couple of times, and only with the standard 10"concentric coil..I think I might use it with the 11" DD next weekend. So far, I'm impressed. I have found mainly coins (and junk, of course) and after two uses am beginning to feel confident in predicting coins. It is easy to use and set up and there are many features which either I haven't tried yet or am not familiar enough with the machine to comment at this stage. My overall feeling is that I am looking forward to a long-term relationship with the Omega and suspect that we wil have many pleasant and fruitful times together. I think its a beauty!!
