What advantages, if any does the GTI 2500 have over the GTP 1350.
I own a GTP 1350 and just love it.
I have found enough relics/coins to pay for it if I wished to sell them. Could I expect more from a Top Of The Line detector?

Both are great machines....probably the best coin hunters out there. The GTI 2500 opens a few more opportunities in that it can be manually ground balanced to give it even more depth then the 1500. It also has a true all metal mode which has greater depth then the 1500 while still giving a conductivity reading. The 2500 also has a "TREAURE TALK" features which tells you the probability of a target and it'd depth audibly. In simple terms, a lady speaks to you after the coil has gone over a target. I dont know anyone who uses this program, however the nurses at work think it's funny that a woman has to tell a user whether to dig or not . Below is a detector comparison chart. just click on it. pick both the GTI 1500 + GTI 2500 and it will visually show you the difference. Hope this helps......

Thanks John,
i think I will wear out my 1350 before I even look for an upgrade; besides I have an ACE 250 as a backup.

Both the GTP 1350 and ACE 250 are killers <img src="http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/John-Edmonton/SMILY20250.jpg"><img src="http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/John-Edmonton/icon1350.jpg">

ASide from all metal, imaging ( which is more accurate than profiling ), a little more depth, you could be quite happy with the 1350 the rest of your life. If you like the 1350 and really know how to use it you have one leg up on a lot of folks regardless of detector choice.

I have a good buddy who still uses a 1972 Compass TR 77 IB and regardless of what "Golly Gee Whiz" machine you use up against him he will thump your butt most of the time.
