Negitive Ground Balance

Wondering if any of my fellow G2 or other users use negative or positive ground balance techniques to enhance there detectors depth. Ive been trying to get more depth on my G2 im using a NEL Tornado, NEL sharp shooter and sold my original 11" coil :( which I probably should of kept.... It felt wonkey and off balance so I never really gave it a chance.
