Does anyone here have experience with the nel sharp coil on the AT Pro? I think it would be a good coil in some very iron infested sites I have. Is it any better than the 5x8 coil?

Not too many responses on any of the Garrett Forums. The 5 x 8 is extremely good for picking out good targets out of junk infested areas. That comment comes up frequently. Below is a depth comparison histogram which you might find interesting....
