Nevada Finds:detecting:

I went and visited my kids in Nevada. I did some detecting while I was there. I hit some parks and an easement in Carson City. I found a wheat and a square nail. I found my second Kennedy half in 2 weeks. Check out Penny Park. Altogether I found 192 coins for $13.90. I went for a ride out into the desert one day and checked out some old mines. I had a great time and a good visit with family.

Nice collection of finds there bro. I'll be doing the same next year when I get out and about with my detector/bike/trailer/camping get up. It's fun to hit places like that "out of town"...........

Here are some of the pics in the desert. One is of my son-in-law.

Cool pictures & sounds like a good holiday with some good finds to top it off.
I would think our desert looks like parts of Australia?

Nice haul bud. How was the weather there?

Dry and warm. Not to hot, just right. Good time of the year for the high desert (5-6000 feet).

Were you in the foothills of the Sierras or plateau country.? THat's what always amazed me about parts of New Mexico. You could be driving along in flat country and be able to see 50 miles down the road yet you were 5000 feet up. Much of the desert country has lovely weather in the winter. I loved Phoenix in the winter. In summer it was a blistering hell. SAme with Vegas.

I was a few hours east of Reno in the desert.
