Got to the beach tuned in detector and started hunting. First hit and I had a group of people watching. One woman practically on top of me. Dug down and came up with a coin. Figured that this woman was so intent to see what I found, I would let her see it. Raised scoop up knee high. She grabbed the coin so fast it would have made your head spin, turned and left with her group. I just shook my head in surprise, later laughing about it. She was in her late 30s. Won't even mention the nationally. This could have been a ring, so take it from me, never show what you find, unless it's a bottle cap or like.
