Today was laundry day. When I go to the laundromat I always break out the detector while my clothes are washing. There are a couple of empty lots where houses had been torn down years ago. Today I went 2 lots down from the laudromat. I have detected that lot several times in the past. I got a signal reading 02-28 on the Explorer II. That is what most of the silver dimes I find usually read. I was hoping for a silver dime but was expecting a can because the depth reading was only 2 inches. Boy was I shocked when this baby popped out of the ground. A 1921 Morgan dollar, this was also the first coin of the day. This is my first silver dollar.
