New 6" DD EXcelerator EQ 2 Pro 2nd Time Out:detecting:

Hello everybody, I was able to get out again with the 6 inch EXcelerator coil for about another hour. I went to same old fairground/baseball field and this time I was a little more successful and found a wheat cent and Indian head cent. I found a 1956 D wheat cent in between a beaver tail and a ring part of a pull tab. I heard a low tone then a high tone then low tone. The wheat cent was only about 2 inches deep and since it was being masked by trash I guess that is why no one found it until the smaller coil came along. The 1905 Indian head cent was found about 5 to 6 inches deep next to piece of iron. I was only able to get a good signal in one direction and the TID was bouncing between 30 to 36 on the Quattro's screen. I do not believe that I would have found these coins with the stock 10 1/2 inch coil. I think it will be just the matter of time until I start unmasking some silver coins,

Nice ones John!

You're making me think about a smaller coil for the trash infestations I have to hunt close by. (schools/Parks)

Good stuff for sure!

Thank you Roy. I have been over the same area a few times with the bigger coil. I love the separation on the smaller coil. Definitely worth getting.

Good hunt, you will like that coil.
I have a 6''DD that i used often, they are very good in trash.
When I'm done cleaning a beach with the 10''1/2 i used the 6'' to find much more stuff.
