OK I just ordered the 250 .I have a bounty hunter QD 2 I'm not unhappy with at all, but I've seen so many post about the 250 I had to have one.I also will be getting the v/4 pin pointer .I know nothing about but for the price of a centect why not. They just called from work and moved me to the night shift (700 pm till 700am ) so my hunting time just cut in half

I have a Whites M6. I think the 250 will be a whole lot more fun.
It really has some features you would expect on a much higher priced detector. Anyway, I'll be listening for the
"Bell Tone" soon.....
Keep everyone posted on how it goes with the ACE...

Sometimes working the night shift is not so bad. Less crowds during the day at most places which will make detecting easier.

I'll say. Looks like your hunting time just DOUBLED.
You will like the 250. Just bought one and it works great. Simple to use, but very effective. Picks up stuff my Master Hunter and Bounty Hunter 101 missed. Some don't like the pinpoint but I do. I get withing 1/2" or closer with it. If you pinpoint using the notch on the inside coil ring, you will do fine.

Yep, that's a good deal they have going with the V4. I did the same thing back when they
sold the earlier model V2. It's a decent pinpointer. You will be glad you got it once you use it a while.
I've had my Ace 250 and V2 for over three years and both are still working fine.
To me, that V4 deal is a no brainer being the pinpointer is free, and you just pay for shipping/ handling.

The Garrett Pro Pointer makes an excellent partner to your ace 250. Well worth the price !
you will love the ace i have one my self i don't think i even want to switch to a more expensive detector its easy to use good id screen etc but the one thing you shouls use with it is a pin pointer like your getting the ace is the only detector i touched and got my hands on i will never lay off it

With the deal he got, he's getting the V4 for free, and only paying for
shipping/handling which is about $20.
I'd jump all over that deal if I was fixing to buy an Ace 250, or any other
machine that cost over $200. $200 is the minimum machine price to
get the free V4 pinpointer.

Its here. My new ace 250 came today ,cant use it till Tuesday(stupid night job) haven't been able to md for 6 days . we are going to have a talk when I get back from vacation 6-20 thru 7-1 then may have to give 2 wk notice. Enough about me I will post my finds soon

Good deal! I've had my ACE for about 2 weeks now. I decided to buy it after a buddy let me use his for a week. I have the yeller fever mentioned before! You're gonna get it too! So far I've been using the 9x12 coil, but may try the stocker this weekend if I get a chance. I'm waiting to get my hands on the sniper coil too! Get a set of headphones that have volume control though-the ACE doesn't have a volume control built in. How's your digger? Get ready to dig. One thing my ACE really seems to like is the aluminum slag in some of the tot lots. I have no idea what it must really be, but it'll sound off as a quarter a lot of times. For some reason the ACE really like nickels. I haven't had any nickel signals yet that weren't nickels. I've also found the depth to be accurate except for coins right on top, or larger objects (sometimes). ZERO complaints with my ACE so far! My poor little Scorpion has just been sitting there cryin' in the corner...
