New ace250 Quit working.:cry:

Rain stopped so out i went I hit some iron by a big old tree and after laying down the 250 so i could dig the 250 went nuts bouncing from signal to signal .I tried to reset. pulled batt. still no help . I call Garrett and Sue said coil might be bad. Has this ever happen to anyone out there ? Later Graw

I drove up to stephenville Tx. and the hobby shop change out my coil but it was raining so hard couldn't go out . the noise did stop for now . Will let you know tomorrow. Later Graw

New Coil is working great. Found 5------- Penny's 1 ------dime 1 rusty can opener 1 ---------- spent 50 ????? cal lead ball and pull tabs that should of been ( rings ). Had a fantastic time. Question . on the face of the 250 it says gold / bronze does this light up when i hit a gold nugget or bronze ?

If you 'notch out' pulltabs you will lose rings in that area and some nickels. I'd rather dig pull tabs than lose a ring.
