my new e-trac turned up this morning via fed-ex deliverd in person by the son in law who is there local delivery man ,he knew what is was so it was handled with kid gloves till i got it ,still getting my head round the manual but i think i'm gonna like this one .:clapping:
only one downside to this machine and a lot of peeps in th u.k have already picked up on it why oh why have they not made it mac compatible ,not everyone uses windows and its going to be a pain using someone else's puter to play properly :thumbdown:
 
never mind wolfie the explorer 11 lasted YOU, 1 week so dont bother ,YOU RAN THAT DOWN ON EVERY FORUM FOR MONTHS, AND THE T2 WAS THE BEST THING EVER.YOU PREACHED TO ALL.:thumbdown:
 
I SEE YOUR ATTITUDE TO OTHERS STILL HASN'T CHANGED MR MOORE ,PERHAPS THATS WHY YOUR BANNED FROM MOST FORUMS IN THE U.K AND EVEN MINELAB OWNERS HAVE BANNED YOU FOR LIFE .YOUR COMMENTS ARE DEPLORABLE CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF DETECTORS YOU SELL ON E/BAY (VOLVOESTATE 1) MAKING YOU THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE U.K DETECTING COMMUNITY .HAVE A NICE DAY

Oh man , you're right! I'm a winDOZE man but I had not even thought of thought. They could have ported it over to MAC. The Exchange program is not a complex program. Although most of the newer MAC's have Intel chips in them. You could install dual OS. You could also run an emulation program but that usually slows it down but this program is not intense so it will not really matter. Those with a MAC can do it. It's just going to take a little more effort. They will have to do it. I can't see myself if I was a MAC user calling my friends house to see if I could use his computer to load up my MD. That would get old really quick!

I've seen ones that were cheaper on here Go into the MAC section and do a search for emulator.

or you can go here and browse around. I'm sure there are freeware programs available out there.

Can't believe it has been 4 years since I hunted with you in England. When I get my son through college in a couple of years I plan to return. See you are swinging the new ETrac. I am using the Fisher F75 myself. The Etrac sounds like a wonderful machine. I liked my explorer but my elbow could not take the weight. Let us know how it goes. You just about spoiled me with the finds over on your side of the water vs over here. Good Luck, Randy
 
hiya randy ,is it really 4 years ago ,wow .let me know when you come over we can sort you out some digging on this side of the u.k .been using the t2 for a few years but the e-trac seems quiet good and is a lot lighter than the explorer.keep in touch by p.m if you want .cheers jeff
 
nope not at all .is there a law that says how many tectors i,m allowed to own ,why don't you find something usefull to do like play with your dog :crazy:

Lets get things straight here Coenwolf is not my pal so you don't know what you're talking about, I don't see eye to eye with the lad and that's no secret. if he wants to shout from the tree tops about any detector which he think's is the best then that's up to him, if he want's to own another along side the one he feels is the best then that's up to him, one thing though he will have to go a long way before he owns as many as you have. Anyway you Mr JM are nothing but a bragging trouble stirring old fart. PS BMWs X5s are crap :sleepy:
