New camera, so heres an update of rings I have found

We finally replaced our old and ailing digital camera, so I thought I would give it a spin and show some of the rings I have found this month. The picture of the gold and the silver rings are water finds. The gold ring is 10k, ruby stone and 6 diamonds. I have to have a jeweler look at it to varify that the diamonds are real. The silver one is sterling and stamped "sterling" inside not 925. Mike tells me this is an indication that it might be an older ring. Wish I have the camera before I cleaned it, came out of the lake as a black blob with no detail. Man it was a surprise to see what it actually looked like.

The second picture with two silver rings are not detector finds. I spotted them at a gargae sale and got them for a quarter each. The one with a blue stone is stamped 925 inside. The other has no stamp, but I thought it looked pretty. Try my hand at selling them on ebay, see if I can earn alittle spending money. Now that we have a camera I will try to post more pictures of stuff as I find them. Maybe I can get as proficient as the hooligan Mike. Just kidding, buddy.

Nice job on the cleaning of that nice sterling ring! I love the gold one too! :) Are you free to dig this weekend?

Mike

Really nice rings and congrats on them and your new camera! Great pics! Hope you find lots more! God Bless! Betty

nice finds! those sterling bands sure must have been popular years ago, I have dug several this year in private yards

I put the sterling rings through electrolysis until the crud is off. Then I rub baking soda and rinse off. Really amazing how it works.
