New coil for Garrett 250 ????????

I have a Garrett 250 with the regular coil. Is there anything to be gained by adding a Double D coil or any other coil, any brand????
I don't mind spending the money to "upgrade" if in the opinion of the readers think there is
something to be gained. The D coil is about $125.00. I have the 4" Coin Sniper.

Well, $125 is better than half the price of a 250. Which isn't made any more, I hear. I'd just move up to a Garrett 400. Keep, sell or trade the 250. I owned a 250 for years it's a Dandy, but it's been vastly improved.
