New Coil

Ok Bryce and Darrell i got my 10 X 12 SEF today and ill give it a try tomorrow in a very tuff area here in Avon Park, Fl. They are redueing the center area of town. There is a lot of underground EMI.. but the soil doesnt seem too bad. That was the area i hunted the last hunt and got the SLQ and Barber. There is an absolute ton of pennies there. I tested it a bit here at the house we are remodeling. Man you can penpoint without even using pinpoint. Makes the surface coins really bang in loud. Hopefully tomorrow we will see what it can find a little deeper. I dont find it at all any heaver and its day and night noise wise from the slimline. The Ferr and Cond numbers seem to be more spot on too.

dewcon; i noticed on my 10x12 that the coil cover was rather tight the first time i took it off to clean: since then it comes off easier.also since it is easier to remove i think it collects more trash now. just keep a check on it because the trash can make it false. hope the best of luck to you.:minelab::minelab:

I got one too but it will be a couple month's before I can use it. Let us how you do and what you think of it after a hunt. Good luck tomorrow.

Dew, i know you're glad to be in sunny climes. the Herald-Times reported 12.8" of snow here in Bloomington last week, but i swear there's still 18" in my driveway! :surprised:

best of luck to you and keep us posted!

Man im never comeing home. Its been the worst winter since i cant remember when. Ellis, my slimeline was like that too so i really watch it, especially here in sand country. Man.. how many of you guys have this coil? Bryce... you're killing me. You are doing too good of a job selling this thing. I'll let ya know what i think. I have a friend here who tryied his DFX in the area ill be hunting. He got 3 silvers, but said the EMI of the underground wire was killing him. I have to say i didnt notice it with the explorer. HH all.
