new delta question

Hello! My delta has all black print on the display screen. I have seen some that have red and black print. Mine also has the coil cable that is pushed in to attach. What exactly is the difference? Is performance the same for them. If not I could still return it.

Thanks for any info.

Older models have push-on coil connector. I was not sure about early versions with the black display. Some had the red print on display, I believe they ran out of red & started using the black display again on the later models (at least that was what I heard a regarding the Omega). I believe the screw on coils have better shielding against EMI? My early F2 with push on connector was definitely more chatty than my newer version with screw on connector. It's a good machine regardless, but the push-on connector limits coil choices a bit. .

Mind you, no expert on this model, however the one I just recieved has the all black print on the screen and the screw on style connector for the coil. FYI.......

The push on connector is on the models that are sold in big chain stores, screw on connectors would not be found in the big chain stores.

Amazon ones were screw in coil plugs and sold on special at around $170

I know of three versions of the Delta 4000 = how many are there in total?
