New Delta

Just got a Delta for my son in law. He's been using one of mine for the last few years and I thought it was time he had one of his own so he could learn one machine well. Talk about a heck of a lot of machine for the money. With the 8" concentric coil it will find everything in my test garden that the Omega will. And the soil here is pretty hot. A really impressive machine. I might have to get one for myself one day. The only thing I don't understand is on the box the machine shows both headphone jacks, but the machine only has the one-eighth jack. Not really a big problem, but I guess it's an older machine or something. Would have preferred the one-quarter jack though. I wonder if the small Bounty Hunter coil will fit it. It's got the push on coil connector.

I checked with First Texas about that, the Deltas with the 1/8th jack only are the older models, they also have a push in coil connector. The newer Deltas have both jacks and screw on coil connectors.
