New detector:confused:

Yeah, its a water hunting machine. Don't know when it will be available, though, but sounds pretty interesting if you are a water hunter. HH jim tn

It's called the Aquamanta.

It's a Pulse Induction model that I believe is primarily intended for use in the saltwater wet sand. I believe a land based version is also being developed.

There is a post in the Beach, Water, Scuba detecting Forum titled "A Week and a half at the beach" from the fellow who has been doing testing with it.

Wander over to the Beach sub-forum and you will find info on it - here’s a couple of links

Other than the new PI detector for the beach, Fisher has been very quiet about new developments.

I'm curious about the wireless and water proof machines they were talking about early this year. Seems like Nokta/Makro came out with what they described.

Nokta/Makro came out with a multi-VLF...nothing new tech wise that has not already been done.

Don't get me wrong...great machine and all that. Not talking smack.

What FT is working on...will be different. And no I cannot elaborate further. :beers:
