Hello all. new member here and new to the grind. So far I am loving it after 2 1/2 months of detecting at the beach and at local parks. I am looking forward to being a good contributor, as best I can here on the forum. Looking forward to learning, growing, and interacting with the community. My wife took up the hobby after getting into old coin values and watching a bunch of youtube videos back in January. After finding a slew of different items in our yard with a detector (Whites Coin master) she picked up on facebook marketplace for $40, I became interested in March and decided to get myself a machine. First though, I realized she would likely benefit from a modern detector so I upgraded her to the Xterra Elite. I ended up buying the Legend 2 for myself and plan to get her a Manticore because she is a great gal and deserves what many believe is the best machine for the beach/water. Anyhow, thanks for having me all and I look forward to getting better.
