New Deus pinpointing

Hello everyone,
I got my new XP today and I noticed that it doesn't show anything about the pinpointing on the XP and
where the sweet spot is on the coil for pinpointing.Is it front,back,middle or rear of the coil.It is different
than other detectors for sure and may take a few weeks to get the hang of it. Gary

I have found it to be where the shaft meets the coil, basically dead center of the coil. Unless it is junk steel, then it could be anywhere under the coil...LOL

Where the shaft attaches to coil. I have found the drag back method works very very well!

Thank you for the info on the pinpointing.I'm anxious
to try it out for the first time after I get home from work
in the morning. Gary

I think the Deus tracks the target so well that when you get used to it, you don't have to pinpoint. It's very, very accurate.
