General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

New England Detectors :rant:

To my fellow CTX 3030 users...Has anyone had issues with New England Detectors? I purchased an item from them and they DO NOT respond to numerous emails and the one time they did reply their answer did not pertain to the subject at all...EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING to say the least. My item was purchased last week and now they say there's issues with their carrier and item will ship via another service and they still won't supply me with a tracking number. It looks as if my friend may not receive their gift in time for Christmas.

Sorry NED but you need to fix your customer service department 'cause it's broken. I guess my point of all this is to warn you. I do not plan on ordering from them again. I am a patient and understanding guy but this is really testing me. :veryangry:
 
I got a couple Lesches from them.....seems like it took a while to get.....but I got them....and at a Great price!!!!!!!
 
Normally I would not complain over something like this but upon purchasing this item I asked if I could have it shipped Priority Mail and will pay the difference immediately, they never responded to that inquiry or the two that followed that one. It's very frustrating, they are a business and should address all questions and concerns. I've googled them and apparently I'm not the only one who is upset with their public relation skills and shipping (lack thereof). I wish I would have investigated before hitting the buy button.

New England Detectors has finally notified me, they have shipped product, hurray !!! I'm still wondering why it took so long though.
 
yeah i had some problems with one order from them, ordered oct 20 and no product by november 20 so called "customer service " they can never get an actual salesman, always leave a number. after 8 calls to customer service i finally got intouch with ned via a pm on another forum. still no receipt for ctx i bought from them and not even a we're sorry or coupon for the item that took over a month to get here. took so long didnt know was coming and sold the detector that item went to.

3 other orders went fine and were a good price. thought they were awesome. now, not so sure D

All orders are guaranteed to make it before Christmas unless you order after the deadline. DEC 22



As indicated on our Website we reserve the right to choose the carrier regardless of your choice. Our goal is to get it in your hands as fast as possible. With cut off times during the day and shipping pickup times we are reserved to choose a different carrier so to ensure your package leaves in a timely matter. (AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU)

As for your Emails I do not know your Email so I cannot search our Database.

Here is our Emails as noted on our website. Anyone who cannot get a hold N.E.D can Email anyone of my staff members and they will forward your questions, concerns, rants and complaints to the proper department.

Hopefully this will help with any questions .

All 5 in house sales reps are on the phones ALL day offering tech support , order support and other customer service related matters.

It is also important to note NEW ENGLAND DETECTORS hours of operation on the front of our website if you call during our off times do not EXPECT a call during the days noted as off.
Emails should be responded to withing 12-24 hours if not I have to investigate why they are not . Our spam filters are very strict to ward off malware, spam and other malicious software. We keep out customer data and any personal information and have a pretty tight lock on what comes through our Email servers. There are times Customers Emails will go into spam . It is a tough trade off between security and actual customer service related inquiries.
All I can say we are here 7 days a week working and taking care of allot of customers.


I hope this helps, if you or anyone has questions you can pick any Email below and someone will respond. You can call but I can say with certainty you will have to leave a message and one of our sales reps will get back to you in the order the calls are received. It is not uncommon for our call list to roll over to the following day. This time of the year we are certainly understaffed but manage to get all orders out on-time.

Sorry small business owner myself and if you are to busy hire more help for the holiday season to assure your customers they will get it on time. You do know that the next guy will do anything to get that business in this cruel world the way things are so you have to do things you might not want to make people happy but it pays off in the long run. Send them a coupon or what it doesn't matter they will spend that with you and probably spend more money with your company.... HELLO repeat customers are your best freind.

Andrew you need to change your system and have some respect for buyers like us. You sounded like a nice guy but your workers really suck !!!
