Thank You Richard at Backwoods detector, 800 arrived today with the 6" coil included :) The shaft locked up tight unlike the 600 so Minelab definitely fixed that problem & I been reading about broken coil ears and armrest. Here is a wild and crazy suggestion how about stop using the detector as a crutch I believe that will keep the armrest & coil ears from snapping of,. never had those problems with my 600. Anyway I will be headed out tomorrow to find my fame and fortune not so much the fame part.
 
Yeah buddy! Lots of people lean down,dig a hole,root around,and PUSH THEMSELVES UP with their machine. I’ve seen it done! It’s a crime! The a$$ kicking these things take is monumental. With regular “normal use” there’s no way anything should be breaking. Good luck on that fortune...:)
