New ETRAC problem

Gunrunner61

New member
Just got this baby last Thursday and due to the rain today is the first chance to try it
my problem is that even with the head phones plugged in you can still hear the sounds coming from the external speaker
.........Can anyone give me a clue to this or is it a factory defect?

Bummer!!!
The obvious is to try another set of phones or at least a different plug.
You can always wad a bunch of toilet paper up and duct tape it over the speaker holes but it might get wet in that rain.

Your headphones are not high enough impedence to shut off the internal speaker...You can try an inline volume control adapter and see if this will add the extra impedence.
I still get slight internal speaker sounds when using my wireless phones. The internal speaker working will shorten your battery life.
