New Etrac user

I got an etrac for christmas. Awesome so far,I have a lot learn. Can anyone explain an emulator and how does it work.I have been reading posts and downloaded a site in french, but it does not make sense. Been detecting for about 3 years and understand a lot, just trying to make sense of the etrac.

The emulator is just a program that lets you simulate using your etrac on your computer. You can change all the setttings just like on the real one. There are files that also show you how certain coins sound and display when you run your cursor over them.

Welcome to the forum Steve, This is a great place to learn about your new E-trac!
I,ve just had my E-trac for 5 weeks and I love it. I,ve learned alot from these guys!
I downloaded the same emulator you did, But theirs another one in english.
Delete the one in french and then go to minelabforums.com and you can download
the emulator in english from that website.
Their,s alot of skilled E-trac users right here on this forum that can help you with
any questions you may have so feel free to ask.
Hope this helps; HH Jim D

Does anyone know "exactly" the steps on how I can get US coins into the ETrac Emulator. I have the Emulator downloaded, but it only came with the French coins?? I have a file:

00_Etrac_French_Coins.zip

But I'd like to get the US coins into this Emulator? If someone has a step by step how to...I'd appreciate it.
