New F2- Love that high tone!

So the rain finally stopped here in SoCal. I ran the F2 with the 4" coil around the backyard for the first time just as a cursory check. I've hit my yard extensively with my Vaquero and Compadre (both with 5.75 coils). Wow, already impressed after about 2 minutes! Got 2 solid dime signals that didn't jump more than 1-2 digits on ID numbers. Nice high tones. I haven't dug them yet, as the ground is so muddy still. They are only about 3" deep so I'm pretty confident on the ID. I will find out for sure in the morning. I think my other detectors may have been masking these targets cause there are quite a few screws and nails in my backyard. If I'm already finding dimes in my heavily hunted yard, then this thing will rock in the field. This sniper coil is gonna be my new (not so secret) weapon for finding that jewelry and coins that myself and others have missed. I don't think anyone could go wrong with the F2, especially the 4" coil combo pack. 6" air test (dig-able tone) on a nickel is not bad for a 4" coil! The ID numbers on the nickel are accurate to about 5". It's definitely alot of detector for the money. Thanks so much to REVIER, for the super helpful advice.

Happy to give out any advice or talk about anything I have learned in my experience...as long as you don't live near me! :lmfao:
