NEW F75

It seems from Bill Ladd's posts that the F75 when it comes down to hunting is not really any different from the T2. It has notching, numbers are tighter, some kind of light you can't turn off, some other tings that are cool but not a big deal. The T2 is a more raw design and that is fine with me.

The F75 is fast but it seems to me why would a T2 user that knows his machine get an F75? If it had two freq one high and one low for coins that might be enough for me...but it has the same freq as the T2.

So I am very interested in following the testing being done but Bill has not really done a head to head and it may be they won't let him do that. Bill has done a great job and I think if you have been waiting for fisher to come up with a different machine this is it.

I think I will stick with the T2, it is not perfect but if they gave us a small coil that works and has depth like its big brother then that would all I really want.

So lets get them to give us that small coil this year so we can take the T2 to the next level in regards to heavy iron and trash.

And send Calif Paul a F75 so we can see a head to head test. Nasa Tom has one he is testing!

Not sure where I gave off the impression that there's no difference in the 2? All metal is better on the F75, it has cool notching, process #'s, seems a little "hotter" & more stable, & is working well on my beaches as well. Those are just a few things off hand. Nobody is tying my hands here, & I don't get paid for any of this. I paid for my T2 out of my own pocket in fact. There are several different more important tests we have been asked to accomplish in a VERY short time here before the release date next week (things like checking for software glitches & such are FAR more important tests right now). Testing alongside a T2 is being done too & will continue. But, I have had it a little more than a week & have a day job too....
HH,
Bill

Well done Bill, have read all your posts on the F-75, here in the UK the f75 could help a great deal in our conditions and coin range, notching ,and also the all metal mode, will give us a new look in our quest, for our ancient thin hammered gold and silver coin, and the level of foil, and rubbish to notch out, just cannot wait till mine arrives .

I have a few hammereds and Romans I can test even to see how they read on the scale if you guys would like......
HH,
Bill

Yes please Bill, and thanks once again for all your help.

regards JM John Moore

I didn't realize that they only are giving you a week to find out about the bugs. Sorry about that.

HH,
Bill[/quote]Hi Bill, So do You think the F75 is a lot better than the T2, is it a upgrade ? You have a T2 and a F75 which one do you like the best, thx

and I wasn't singleing you out nessisarily, as there have been several posts asking me to compare the F75 to various other units. I just wanted to offer some background info to show what was going on test-wise. Testing of various settings/modes was top priority. Like I said, side by sides with the T2 & others will be done afterwards as time/weather permits. Though I have had mine 2 weeks now, keep in mind there were other testers who had earlier versions far longer......

in banking by day...counting their $$. Then I try to find some of my own coins on weekends :)
