Hi new to this site  . My first detector was a Minelab Sovereign XS-2 Pro i had for 4 years and found a 3 standing liberties, 4 mercury dimes, 1 1911 barbers, 3 indian head pennies, and a bunch of wheaties. Average depth on dimes and quarters was 5 to 7 inches pennies 8 to 9 inches, all these came from a picnic grove next to a creek that i hunted over the four years. I just bought the quattro and went back to the same exact place on 3/25/06 and found 1- 1923 standing libery, 3- 1916,1916s,1926 mercury dimes. 1- chrysler key. 1- screw cap and 1- old sinker. the standing libery was 6 inches deep and the dimes were 8 to 10 inches deep.

I hear that Soverign is not a bad detector either, but those are some great finds you "got" there with the Quatro. Keep it up and keep sharing with us. Gets my blood pumping.:sad::yo::geek::(:O:|
