I was trying to merge the face plate photos to give you all a better shot of it. I had merged them, but out of order. I went to edit, and it asked if you want to delete the merge step. I clicked yes, and all post went. There is no point of return after I clicked OK.

My apologies to all who posted, please feel free to repost.

Mr.Bill

does ground balance affect both modes, then up to salt but will it balance on a wet sandy beach. thanks

I'm quite certain on the F70 it does, don't know at all on the F5.

My F4 works well on a salt beach, including the wet sand. It works only in discrimate mode, and we know that's a fixed GB.

The F5 is not like the F4, so I have been told. It's a new circuit.

Bill:
It should be interesting to see just how different these two machines will BE from the existing F2,F4 and F75.
I get a bit weary sometimes when they start tinkering around trying to make something better. :)-)

Mr Bill
Does this mean some of the current Fishers will be discontinued, like the ID Edge,CZ3D,Excel,1270?

Hey Mr. BIll--------Do you have a 6" coil for the ID Edge----THANKS

Hi Mr Bill,They Look Good!! Do You Know If They Are Made By Fisher Or Are They Made By Bounty Hunter?? Thanks For Any Info!!

It's Fisher. You would be mistaken to believe that they would not utilize all material available to them. Bounty Hunter, Teknetics. & Fisher are all the same.

hey thats the comment that started a war before. just kidding am interested in the f 5 would like to know ground balance operation, fixed, grab, manual or auto, and if in the discrimination mode also. there not much information as of yet.

If the F5 and F70 are ground balancing to salt, does that imply they'll be good wet salt water beach detectors ?
