Driving home yesterday with my new DP, passed a homesite I have wanted to hit for months. Problem was, no one was ever home. And, did I mention I had never asked permission before. It was my first old homesite.
Drove to the main house, asked for and received the OK from the landowner. Not as hard as I thought it might be.

Found some clad pennies, my first cap gun, grip only. Top to a salt shaker, smashed flat, few bottle caps and my first silver spoon.

Turns out, it may be silver plated.

Either way, really like this machine.
Taking it to Fort Collins for 10 days. Might try to find a local club.
